As announced on our website (see link to the right), we’re running a Royal Wedding memories Competition. It’s simple – loads of people have memories about past Royal Weddings. Did you have a fun at a street party in 1982 when Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer became man and wife? Do you remember the excitement and pageantry when a young and beautiful Princess Elizabeth married Prince Philip? Were you around when The Duke of York (later to become King George VI) was betrothed to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon? Surely you have some great or amusing memories of these special days. If so, post them here. At midnight on the day of the Royal Wedding, we’ll select the best blog and the winner will receive £200 of wonderful Royal Weddin Memorabilia. So – get blogging!

June 27, 2008… when it hasn’t even been announced yet? An excellent question. Well – the answer is simple. We’re The UK Gift Company, the UK’s Premier site for quality gifts and collectables and we’re trying to generate as much interest as we can. But it’s not just that – we also want to reflect interest in what will be a great occasion for all UK Citizens who are supporters of Royal Tradition. It’ll be the biggest national event since that memorable day in 1982 – the occasion of the marriage between Lady Diana Spencer and Prince Charles. What a wonderful day that was – and what a sad and tragic end there was to their marriage. Anyway – this blog is for anyone who has anything to say about the Royal Wedding. Are you For or Against?
